Aboard one of our classic Land Rover III Series we will head off to find the roads less travelled. We keep the high ground and the dominant position to enjoy sweeping views over the Florentine and Sienese Chianti Classico region. We thread through ancient hilltop villages — Montefioralle, Panzano, Volpaia — arriving at smaller family owned wineries where people work with heart and soul. We have a choice of 2 itineraries:
A half-day (Buongiorno!) or late afternoon (Buonasera!) experience for up to six guests. Departs from Hotel Villa Bordoni. (Or if you are coming to Greve by public transport from Florence, by prior arrangement from the bus stop in central Greve.)

Between the medieval battlegrounds of Florence and Siena. The high valley of the river Greve. Sweet, rolling hills; a hundred shades of green, thousand year-old, tumbledown fortified villages. Estates with some of the most important names in the world of Italian wine but also many smaller unsung heroes of viticulture! The most genuine wines of central Tuscany: we will be tasting several and also some wonderfully peppery extra virgin olive oil. You will have the opportunity to purchase first-class products at farm-to-table prices. We will be on hand to help should you decide to do so.
